Solid White Cotton 3/4 Raglan Sleeve Henley
The 3/4 Raglan Sleeve Henley: After the completely BONKERS reaction to the Henleys last fall, I had to come up with some twists for spring.
These pieces were made in California of 100% Cotton for Blade+Blue.
Recently, I went into my drawers and realized that I didn't have a single thing that was plain white. Then I realized, I had nothing that was plain black either. NOT ONE THING!... well, except for my B+B undies, but that's a different story.
It was clear, that my first priority for Spring was to solve that problem - and why not start with my most popular style.
Please note, the solid white & black henleys are made of 100% cotton, not the cotton/poly blend of the contrast styles. The biggest difference is that the cotton/poly blend really hugs the body while the cotton has a little more of a drape to it. The fit is still tailored & sexy, just with a touch more breathing room.
I chose to cut the sleeves at the 3/4 length for a few reasons; mostly because I thought the shortened sleeve made the shirt look sportier, more tailored & more flattering.
But also because full sleeves make the henley a little harder to layer under a shirt. Most guys roll up their sleeves, and it gets a little sloppy when you're rolling up so much fabric. Now things stay nice and smooth :)
And one more thing about the sleeves - is there anything worse than when the ribbed cuff on a henley stretches out and then just hangs off your wrist? The worst!
Each henley sports the Blade+Blue crest just above the hem on the wearer's right.

I went up a size on this because I'm tall and Henley's usually are tight on my chest and too short. Shirt hangs a little more "casually" than a typical henley from BR/Gap, but it's very comfortable. First wash on delicate with an air dry, but I may let it go in the dryer on low next round for a little bit of snugness. I like the look of the 3/4 arms, and the bit where the sleeves roll up didn't bother me like they do on a baseball tee.
