Made in USA Underwear by Blade+Blue: Trunk & Brief / Sexy & Comfy

MERCY, MERCY ME!

I can't believe the day has actually come. I released the slim-cut boxers a few years ago and as you may know - they have become a sensation.

Since then, there were many requests for me to make knit underwear for the guys who just aren't 'boxer guys'.

As usual, I threw myself right in & wanted instant gratification. And I made some pieces and they were good.  Actually they were really good... but not good enough for Blade+Blue.

I didn't want to make just another product, just another style of underwear. These had to be special and simply the best underwear you have ever worn.

So.. I started over.  Completely over.

It took two years to finally make them good enough to share with you.

Here is a little insight into my process, thoughts & goals ...

Picture it - San Francisco, 2016......

The Mission: When I was creating the knit underwear styles, there were two sacred ideas: First, they must feel luxurious, unlike anything else you have ever worn. Second.....Well, let's be honest, I want you to feel really sexy when you put these on.

Made in USA:  Blade+Blue remains committed to the tradition of American manufacturing. Expert USA craftsmanship was used in every phase of this garment's production. The superior-grade fabric used to make these trunks was knitted in here California. In fact, the Supima Cotton used in the blend was actually grown in the USA. We then custom dyed the fabric and cut & sewed each piece about 30 minutes from my workspace in San Francisco. Even the label was made here in the Bay Area.

The Fabric: There is no reason why men's underwear can't feel luxurious. Yet so many brands feel thick & 'intrusive'. It took two years to develop this unique fabric that is going to make you feel like a million bucks.

- 47% SUPIMA COTTON: Grown in the USA, an extra long staple fiber makes Supima twice as strong as other cottons. These need to last!

- 47% MICRO MODAL: Derived from bamboo, this fabric is going to change the way you think of underwear. It is so light & soft that you barely know it is there. I hesitate to use the word 'silky' but man, is this fabric SMOOTH! As a bonus prize, the Micro Modal contains moisture wicking properties to help keep you dry & comfy.

- 6% LYCRA: The icing on the cake here is the lycra. The added lycra allows the fabric to stretch and mold to your body. As you move, the lycra is going to make the fabric work with your body, not against it.

Can you even imagine going back to thick 100% cotton underwear again?

The Brief: My biggest challenge when creating these shapes was making sure they were sexy but without making you look like a go-go dancer!

I will be honest, I have never been a brief man... until now. And now I can't get enough!

My favorite detail of this brief is the way the front is sculpted. Your eye is led to the frame created by the royal blue contrast stitching. It is just the right amount of sexy.

And do I have to mention how great the booty looks in these briefs?

The Trunk: My biggest challenge when creating these shapes was making sure they were sexy but without making you look like a go-go dancer!

You can think of this trunk as a shorter & sexier version of a boxer brief. The shorter length creates a more attractive frame to show off your best 'assets'.

Speaking of your assets, instead of stretching one piece of fabric over your entire backside; we designed a pattern that helps to contour and lift. I mean, the pictures speak for themselves!
