- Collar Shape: Nothing is worse than seeing an otherwise handsome shirt ruined by a big, floppy collar. The wrong collar shape can instantly ruin your look. I have slightly trimmed the height on Blade + Blue collars, then created a semi-spread shape for a very sharp & modern effect.
- Interior Cuff Trim: You guys have told me that your favorite surprise is the navy herringbone tape tucked just inside the sleeve cuffs. Guys are always rolling up their sleeves to be comfortable and this subtle detail allows them to be relaxed but still look polished at the same time.
- Placket Construction: The slimmer center placket shape of the Blade + Blue shirt is sewn in with a stitch right at the edge of the placket. This technique creates a more streamlined look and eliminates the distracting, 'rumpled' effect that occurs with most other shirts.
THE STEELE SHIRT: I have been using Japanese dragonfly prints for a while now; shirts, ties, boxers....you name it. They are so powerful & interesting. Not to mention that dragonflies are symbols of courage & strength in Japanese arts.
But I actually never knew too much about them until I watched a documentary called 'The Secret World of Dragonflies' - my mind was blown!

The Steele is trimmed with smoke buttons, a handsome button down collar and navy herringbone tape on the interior cuff & neck seams.

You will also notice that the lengths of Blade + Blue shirts are designed to make you look great tucked in or out.

Love that it’s made in the USA! I’ve gotten so many compliments on this dragonfly print shirt. It has to be one of my favorite shirts in my wardrobe now! The fabric is a heavy gauge cotton so it may be more of a fall/winter/early spring kind of shirt rather than a summer one but who knows I may wear it year round I love it so much!

This shirt was sold out when i first saw it on the Blade and Blue website, and I knew I would buy when it became available again. this is one of the most beautiful prints I have ever seen in a men's shirt. be aware that the cloth is very heavy (this is a fall or winter shirt), and it is a print. But it is beautifully made, and nicely proportioned. Even though i notice B&B's models are usually shorter men, I'm tall (6'2') and it still looks flattering on me.
